Born from the Heart –
A Journey of Passion and Cultura

Adelitas Revenge was born from the heart and soul of Chicana entrepreneur Yvonne Marquez as a pop-up shop in 2020, gracing local markets with its vibrant presence. The pandemic reminded us that life is fleeting, pushing us to embrace our passions wholeheartedly.

Rooted deeply in Chicano culture since her childhood in La Puente, California, Yvonne has been building and installing ofrendas throughout Southern California since 1997. Her goal? To share our rich and colorful heritage with the community. In 2003, while sitting in her favorite Coffeehouse in Long Beach, CA, Yvonne envisioned creating a shop similar to Viento y Agua Coffeehouse. Now, her dream has come full circle.

At Adelitas Revenge, our journey began with handcrafting Mexican treasures, inspired by icons like María Félix, Selena, Juan Gabriel, and Frida Kahlo. Each piece we carry is a tribute to our community, blending Mexican-American heritage and Chicana Queer identities.

Our fierce spirit is ignited by the Soldaderas, the women warriors of the Mexican Revolution. To many Latinas, the Adelita is a superhero, embodying strength, beauty, and resilience.

A Tribute to Las Adelitas –
Celebrating Women Warriors

Adelitas Revenge is a tribute to Las Adelitas and all female heroines who
have blazed trails before them, demonstrating the courage to break the mold.

Adelita’s Revenge is more than just a tribute to Las Adelitas—it’s a celebration of all female heroines who have broken the mold and paved the way for others. With deep passion and pride, we’ve lovingly curated this shop as a sanctuary for our small business familia.

We are honored to provide a platform for Queer, Latiné, Indigenous, Women artists, makers, authors, and creatives to share their craft and stories. Our shelves are filled with artisanal mugs, edgy Frida Kahlo shirts, Oaxacan woven bags, Juan Gabriel candles, and culturally rich treasures that speak to the unique experiences of our Latiné comunidad in LA.

Handpicked Treasures Celebrating Latiné Identity

Handcrafted with Pride
by Talented Artisans

At Adelita's Revenge, we proudly source our products from talented artisans and entrepreneurs across the U.S. and Latin America, from Texas and Oregon to Oaxaca, Ecuador, Colombia, and Mexico’s craft capitals. Each vendor we work with shares our vision of supporting small, women, and Latinx-owned businesses. Through these partnerships, we have created a platform where Latinx creators can celebrate their identity and culture with pride, showcasing the beauty and creativity of our diverse heritage.
