Join us for a powerful weekend honoring the spirit of Adelitas and the legendary women who paved the way!
Isabel Morales—a name that resonates in the heart of Chicanismo. As a fierce advocate, artist, and community leader, Isabel embodies the passion of a true adelita. She reminds us what it means to fight for la raza, celebrating the resilience of generations.
This night is dedicated to honoring the legendary adelitas—brave women soldiers and activists who gave their all during the Mexican Revolution and beyond.
Dress as adelitas to recreate a night of a thousand adelitas! Whether in traditional traje de adelita or showcasing bold, modern Chicana style, come together to embody strength, love, and solidarity.

Join us for a tamale workshop with Cocinera Yvonne where we dive into every step of this beloved dish! We’ll teach you everything from preparing the masa and flavorful fillings to folding techniques passed down through generations. Together, we’ll create tamales filled with love, laughter, and a bit of sazon , ready to share with family and friends. Bring your appetite and love for culture—you’ll leave with tamales and a piece of tradition to carry on. No experience necessary, just a desire to learn and have fun!

Inner child joy, connection, and community.
Practicing Spanish can be difficult sometimes- trying to talk in between others’ giggles, looks, or blatant, "asi no se dice!" But HERE, our goal is to create a shame and judgement free zone where everyone can relax, breathe, play, practice, and learn.
Join us for our monthly Practice Spanish Convivio (get together). These convivios are food and joy centered.
What to Bring?
A dish to share and an open mind. Conversations prompts, games, and common vocabulary will be available. We will connect, review, eat, and share.
So bring on the long pauses, the thinking faces, and spanish dictionaries.
All levels and everyone is welcome.
